Summer Side Grill is a solid choice for Filipino food if you're looking to get your hands/mouth on some Filipino favourites in the South side.Apart from the usual order your ulam/dishes style type of dining, they also offer a buffet over the weekend. Their selections are great even offering all day breakfast favourites like longsilog, tosilog, and tapsilog. The decor is very Filipino with bamboo chairs and decor all over the restaurant. They even have the typical Filipino culture paintings depicting people moving bahay kubos. The food itself was really good, the service was fantastic, and the portions was worth the price given. We came on a buffet day and they still let us order from the menu and even gave us some dishes from the buffet to try. Really friendly staff from my time here, I'm not sure what the other reviewers were talking about. A must try if you're craving or wanting to try Filipino cuisine in the South side.

I dropped by to hang out while my daughter was at a nearby birthday party. I wasn't hungry but the staff welcomed me anyway, helping me choose something from the menu (I'm not familiar with Filipino food!) and even preparing something special for me. Incredibly friendly, helpful, and open staff/management. I'm very impressed. I wish I lived closer; I'd like to give them my business more often. Cute Debbie, too.
